The coupling between the cable casing (1) and guide tube (2) is used in the gearbox of a motor vehicle. The coupling is attached directly to a part of the housing of the gearbox (B) by moulding. The casing is moulded with the part of the housing, and is positioned at one of the interior ends of the housing. The interior end of the housing is connected to the guide tube.
