PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quantitatively measure nonelectrostatic adhesion between powders by measuring centrifugal force required to separate the powders by a centrifugation method, and calculating the adhesion by using a specific relational expression. SOLUTION: When a sticking quantity per unit area of a powder layer on the sample surface is denoted by M, an average electrification quantity of powder is denoted by Q and centrifugal force required to separate the power is denoted by Fs, the centrifugal force Fs is found to plural samples different in the sticking quantity M and/or the electrification quantity Q to calculate nonelectrostatic adhesion Ft between powders by a relational expression [Ft=Fs-A×(Q/M)<2> ]. Here, A is a constant. When a thickness of a powder layer on the sample surface is H, centrifugal force Fs is similarly found to plural samples different in the thickness H and/or the electrification quantity Q to calculate nonelectrostatic adhesion Ft between the powders from a relational expression [Ft=Fs-B×(Q/H)<2> ]. Here, B is a constant. Thus, since influence of electrostatic force can be separated from dependency of a unit sticking quantity M, the average electrification quantity Q of powder or the thickness H by measuring required centrifugal force Fs, the nonelectrostatic adhesion Ft between the powders can be found by using a specific expression.
|
