<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a process of preparing a toner compsn. which enables excellent image fixation and gloss characteristics in a simple and profitable manner. SOLUTION: When a toner compsn. contg. a colorant and an addition polymer resin of styrene, butadiene, acrylonitrile and acrylic acid is prepd., a step for preparing a latex emulsion by emulsion polymn. of a mixture of about 55-85 wt.% styrene, about 1-25 wt.% butadiene, about 1-20 wt.% acrylonitrile and about 0.5-5 wt.% acrylic acid in the presence of an ionic surfactant and an optional nonionic surfactant is carried out.</p> |
