PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remedy uneven luminance in a directional distribution of the light incident on a light guide plate from a light source, and enabling even illumination, in the surface light source device. SOLUTION: Patterns 150 for leading light to a light guiding plate are provided at angular positions where a directional distribution of the incident light is higher than the ideal distribution, and the light in that angle directions is lead out. Thereby, the brightness in the angle directions where the patterns 150 are formed is reduced, consequently, uneven brightness in a directional distribution of the light emitted from the light guide plate 12 is regulated, thus even irradiation from the light guide plate 12 becomes possible. |
