PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fine microscopic optical image and a monitor image from an image projecting optical system on the same visual field by controlling the visual field area of a microscopic vidual field in accordance with an image projection state to the microscopic vidual field. SOLUTION: A hard mirror (endoscope) 3 is used together with an operating microscope 2. A part of an observation beam passing a microscopic optical system forms its image on an image pickup element of a 1st TV camera 12. A 2nd TV camera 32 fitted to the hard mirror 3 picks up an image of the mirror 3. An endoscopic image projected to an LCD monitor 26 is formed on a liquid crystal(LC) shutter (visual field adjusting means) 8. At the time of receiving a control signal, an LC driver changes the transmission factor of the shutter 8. Namely a transmission part capable of completely transmitting the beam is formed on the upper left part of the visual field of the shutter 8. An area for forming the endoscopic image projected to the monitor 26 is arranged on the transmission part. |
