PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the timbre event processing time of an electronic musical instrument provided with a dual playing function. SOLUTION: A panel map 18 stores the state of plural respective switches including timbre switch and a previous time ON event storage part 21 stores the timbre switch turned ON at the time of the timbre event generation of a previous time representatively by a position on the panel map 18. A switch even processing part 17 checks the stored contents of the position stored in the previous time ON event storage part 21 on the panel map 18 at the time of the timbre event generation and discriminates whether or not the stored contents are changed at the time of the scanning of this time. When the stored contents are not changed, it is judged that the timer for dual playing is designated, and dual timbre setting is performed. |
