PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of easily removing/ recovering residual toner efficiently by charging the residual toner on an electrostatic latent image carrying rotary body such as a photoreceptor while suppressing generation of ozone, as for the image forming device of electrostatic photographic system. SOLUTION: This image forming device is provided with a static charge charger 411, an exposing device 42, a developing device 43, a transfer charger 44, a separation charger 45, a cleaning device 46, and an optical eraser 47 are arranged on respective position opposite to a photoreceptor 8. Then, the device is allowed to arrange an electric charge imparting device D1 provided with a power source PS1 capable of impressing a voltage on a charging sheet and an electrode layer of a charging sheet S1 held in contact with the photoreceptor 8, downstream the transfer charger 44 and the separation charger 45 in the rotary direction of the photoreceptor 8, and upstream the cleaning device 46. The device is allowed to eliminate the static charge from the toner before cleaning by impressing the voltage of the electrode layer on the charging sheet S1, and letting the discharge to be performed from the electrode layer. |
