The dust collector consists of a small-volume chamber with holes for inserting the thumb (5), index (6) and middle (7) fingers into latex sheaths, and a suction tube (22) with a filter (11) at its upper end. The chamber has a transparent plastics cover and a hinged visor (20) with a hole (18) for inserting a tool to shape a prosthesis or a cast held between the fingers and thumb.
