The device has a protective case (200) forming a protective enclosure around a filming unit of a camera and mounted movable in rotation along an axis with respect to an arm (310a) integrated to a plate (300). The plate is mounted movable in rotation along another axis perpendicular to the former axis with respect to a fixed base (400). The rotational movements of the case and plate are realized at three hundred and sixty degrees without stop. The case has an aperture (210) in front of which lens of the filming unit is installed. An independent claim is also included for a method of operating of a filming unit`s operation management and positioning assuring device.
