Detecting nucleic acid by amplification, with use of third, immobilized primer

A method for the detection of a nucleic acid sequence (N) by treating an N-containing solution with two primers (P1, P2), is new and the solution is contacted with a third primer (P3) attached at its 3'-end to a solid phase (M). An Independent claim is also included for a kit for carrying out the process, containing the three primers.
