In a second step, the semiconductor switch, lying in one bridge branch of the rectifier (S1), is displaced in the current conducting condition. The remaining semiconductor switches are blocked, and that after the opening of the circuit breaker (LS1) in a third step, all semiconductor switches are brought in.
