PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily branch an optical fiber by taking out an optical fiber accommodated in an optical cable without giving a damage to the optical fiber. SOLUTION: An optical cable branching tool is equipped with a pair of cable holding parts 101 for holding both the ends of the branched part of an optical cable C to be branched; and a base part 102 where the above cable holding parts 101 are attached. At least one cable holding part 101 is slidably attached to the base part 102, and the cable holding part 101 is slid in an extension direction of the optical cable C to the base part 102 to bend the branched part. |
