PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the device and method for tracking the movement of the image recording device by using optical fields. SOLUTION: The image recording device has an image pickup device which obtains successive frame images of the circumferential environment, a frame storage device which stores the successive frames obtained by the image pickup device, and a processor which determines the position and direction of the image pickup device according to the successive frames; and the successive image frames are recorded (S200), the position and direction of the image recording device are determined (S300) by the successive frames, and a new image frame is recorded (S500). According to the position and direction of the image recording device for the successive image frames, the position and direction of the image recording device to the new image frame are determined (S600). |
