SOLUTION: A corresponding point extraction means 102 extracts corresponding points for plural areas between the images. A joining position setting means 103 adaptively sets the joining position of the images from information relating to the corresponding points extracted in the corresponding point extraction means 102. An image synthesis means 106 composites the images based on the joining position set in the joining position setting means 103.
