The pivot point of the brushes(11-14) are electric motor, pneumatically or hydraulically adjusted in such a way that in the event of a power failure or pressure drop the brushes swing into a neutral position outside the clearance(25,26) of the vehicle(10) by gravity force action. The brushes are orientated vertically in the neutral position. The pivot point of each brush is adjustable by an electric motor driven stop against which the brush shaft(17,18) is pressed against the force of a counterweight(21-24) by a pneumatic or hydraulic cylinder(19,20)
