摘要 <p>A reflection liquid crystal display device having a structure in which a plurality of liquid crystal layers are formed on a single substrate, manufactured at a low manufacturing cost improved by a method for joining a film for sealing the liquid crystal to a support member, involving no parallax, and achieving bright display, and a method of manufacturing the same are disclosed. The liquid crystal display device comprises a substrate on the upper side of which a pixel electrode and a driving element connected to the pixel electrode are formed, a resin film disposed over the substrate and having a common electrode formed on the upper side of the resin film, multiple columnar support members supporting the resin film, adhesive layers interposed between the support members and the resin film and adapted for joining the resin film and the support members, and a liquid crystal layer so structured that a liquid crystal is sealed in between the substrate and the resin film. The liquid crystal display device is characterized in that the adhesive layer is made of a thermoplastic material and the resin film and the support members are joined by developing the thermoplasticity of the adhesive layer.</p>
