The testing method uses a test voltage which is below the threshold voltage of the detonation device, with subsequent testing of the detonation device with a test voltage above the threshold value when a high-ohmic resistance is exhibited in response to the initial test voltage and rejection of the detonation device when a low-ohmic resistance is exhibited in response to the initial test voltage. An Independent claim for a testing device for an electronic detonation device is also included.
