A pipe (1) feeds a supply of liquid concrete from a center section (2) towards an outlet with an outer locking bush (4) with a locking groove (5) and end-flange (6) with recess (7). The recess houses an anti-wear ring (15). The material selected for the ring has better abrasion-resistant characteristics than the pipe center section, and is held in place by a rolled-over flange edge (18).
