The aim of the invention is to improve the teletransmission of useful data, especially of packet and/or voice data by means of communications devices with regard to easy use, for example, versatile, universal application and use, and to improve location-independence (mobility). To these ends, both a fixed partspecific common air interface architecture (DUM, STM, PKM1) for carrying out a given common air interface protocol and a mobile part-specific common air interface architecture (DUM, STM, PKM2) for carrying out the given common air interface protocol are assigned to a data adapter (DA1, DA2). The common air interface architectures assigned to the data adapter (DA1, DA2) are activated according to the particular application, i.e. which scenario should be realized for the teletransmission of useful data and especially which communications device (KE1, KE2) is connected to the data adapter (DA1, DA2).
