摘要 The method involves tuning the satellite receiver to a first radio program to determine the average frequency of the corresponding satellite transponder and to store this as a reference average frequency. The satellite tuner (2) is then tuned to other radio programs to determine the average frequency of the corresponding satellite transponder and to detect deviations from the reference frequency in the form of a correction frequency value. The correction value is applied to the average frequency to compensate for frequency deviations. The method involves tuning the satellite receiver to a first radio program to determine the average frequency of the corresponding satellite transponder and to store this as a reference average frequency. The satellite tuner is then, in a second step, tuned to a second radio program to determine the average frequency of the corresponding satellite transponder. In a third step the tuner (2) is tuned again to the first radio program to detect deviations from the reference frequency in the form of a correction frequency value. In a fourth step, the correction value is applied to the average frequency determined in the second step to compensate for frequency deviations. Independent claims also cover apparatus for carrying out the method.
