<p>An antenna device used for a mobile communication unit such as a portable telephone operates satisfactorily on two or more frequency bands, can be adjusted to control its impedance characteristic, and can be manufactured with high yield. This antenna device comprises a first spiral antenna element (1) having one end open and the other end connected electrically with a high frequency circuit inside a communication terminal, and a second antenna element (2) having both ends open and arranged either outside or inside the first antenna element (1). The second antenna element (2) is electrically insulated from the first antenna, and its position is adjustable relative to the first antenna element to control the impedance characteristic of the antenna device.</p> |
