<p>The comb consists of a series of parallel teeth (1) which have both ends (2) fixed to trough-section bars (3). Each tooth has a central zone (4) of a height corresponding to the distance between the bars, while shoulders (5) on their ends ensure the required gap between the side faces of adjacent teeth. The teeth are manufactured by stamping, forging or molding from materials which are lighter than steel, e.g. titanium or composition materials.</p> |
