(Poly)alkoxyalkyl terpene ethers (I) are new. (Poly)alkoxyalkyl terpene ethers of formula (I) are new; m = 2-5; A = 2-5C alkylene; R = H; 1-4 C alkyl (optionally substituted by 5-12 C cycloalkyl, 7-12 C bicycloalkyl or 8-11 C tricycloalkyl, in which the cycloalkyl or tricycloalkyl group may be substituted by -CH2-O-R1 or the cycloalkyl group may be substituted by -O-R1); 5-12 C cycloalkyl, optionally substituted by -O-R<1>; 7-12 C bicycloalkyl; or 8-12 C tricycloalkyl; R1 = 1-18 C alkyl, 5-12 C cycloalkyl, 7-12 C bicycloalkyl or a 1-6 C alkyl group substituted by cycloalkyl, bicycloalkyl or tricycloalkyl .
