The clamp, designed to fasten a ski boot by drawing two side flaps (2, 3) together, consists of a lever (4) pivoted to a plate (6) on one side flap, a fixing element (9) and a rack (8) mounted on a plate (20) on the opposite side flap (2), the fixing element having hooked end to engage with the rack teeth (8a, b, c). The rack is connected to its plate (20) by means of a stud (13) passing through a slot (10) with two circular ends (11) of greater diameter than the slot's width. The stud has a rectangular cross-section with rounded ends, shaped so that it can slide along the slot when the rack is set across it, and is fixed in position when in line with the slot in one of the two circular ends.
|
