<p>A convertible sofa-bed structure (1) which is versatile, structurally simple and easy to operate, comprises a base (2), a backrest (14) extending like a bridge over the base (2) and having a predetermined thickness equal to the difference between half of the length of the bed and the depth of a sofa, and a telescopically-extendible platform (6) comprising a first and a second plate-like element (7, 8) each having a depth equal to half of the length of a bed, the first element (7) being extractable from the base (2) like a drawer for a predetermined travel equal to the thickness of the backrest, between a position in which it constitutes a platform of a sofa and an extended position in which it constitutes a platform of a lounger, and the second element (8) being movable like a drawer from a position in which it is disposed on top of the first element (7) to a position in which it is arranged substantially as an extension thereof, to form the platform of a bed. <IMAGE></p> |
