PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a loop-amount controller high in reliability. SOLUTION: This loop amount controller is provided with a speed correction computing element 10 for correcting a speed reference value set by a speed reference setting device 6 by the deviation value of the loop-amount, a temp, detector 11 installed on the inlet side of the continuous rolling mill for detecting the temp. of a material to be rolled and a loop-amount setting/correcting device 12 for correcting the set value of the amount of loop by the temp. signal from the temp. detector 11. In this way, the operational accuracy of the loop-amount controller is improved.
