PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To divide grading of magnetic powder and also to enable magnetic sorting based on magnetic property thereof. SOLUTION: In this method, magnetic particles are sorted out from magnetic powder according to magnetic susceptibility thereof. In this case, a grading classifying process in which classification based on the particle diameter is performed and a magnetic sorting process in which sorting based on magnetic property thereof is performed are provided in this order, and in the grading classifying process, when dividing the magnetic powder into two grading sections if the average particle diameter of one grading section is taken as D1 , the average particle diameter of the other grading section is taken as D2 , and the average particle diameter before the classification is taken as D0 , classification is performed so that D1 /D0 =0.40∼0.7 (D1 <D2 ), and in the magnetic sorting process, the two grading fractions each are sorted based on magnetic property thereof. |
