LUBRICANT FOR COLD WORKING OF METAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a lubricant capable of manifesting a lubrication property same as or superior to that of the conventional ones, hardly causing an environmental problem and usable for cold working of a metal. SOLUTION: This lubricant for cold working of a metal consists essentially of (A) a component for forming an alkoxylated alcohol membrane, (B) a component for forming a polymer membrane selected from a polyurethane and an acrylic polymer and (C) an inorganic acid containing boron or a salt thereof, and contains (D) an extreme pressure agent, (E) an inhibitor and (F) a metal salt of a 10-22C fatty acid as selective components.
