PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a blurring due to the contact of dots adjacent to each other or the like from occurring and consequently improve an image quality by a method wherein the determination for turning the pixels in the surroundings of a formation pixel into a formation pixel to form a dot having a diameter, which can contact with a dot to be formed at the formation pixel is suppressed in a process for forming dots. SOLUTION: If the error allocation to a pixel P1 adjacent to an aiming pixel PP is set to be larger than the predetermined set error allocation, the formation of a dot to the adjacent pixel P1 is suppressed, when the judgment to form a dot to the aiming pixel PP is made. If the contact of the dot formed at the pixel P1 adjacent but one to the aiming pixel PP with the dot formed at the pixel PP occurs due to the vary large dot diameter formed at the pixel PP, the formation of a dot is suppressed by alloting also a larger error to the pixel P2. Thus, a blurring due to the contact of adjacent dots or the like can be prevented from occurring, resulting in allowing to improve an image quality. |
