PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide food containers for irradiation composed of propylene based resin materials which cause neither lowering in mechanical properties and discoloration even by irradiation nor surface tackiness and an offensive odor. SOLUTION: Propylene based resin materials which comprise, as the major component, a propylene based polymer having 100-80 mol.% constituting units derived from propylene and 0-20 mol.% constituting units derived from a comonomer selected from ethylene and 4-20Cα-olefins and have a melt flow rate(MFR) of 0.5-100 g/10 min, a memory effect(ME) of 0.9-1.3, an average elution temperature of 75-120 deg.C, and a degree of dispersion of elution of 9 or less are molded into food containers.
