PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing alga salt by homogeneously dispersing and mixing a sea alga extract with salt, capable of enhancing the added value of the salt as a health food, thereby satisfying the demand of modern and reviving the concept of the alga salt as an ancient salt. SOLUTION: This method for producing an alga salt comprises a brine- producing process for producing a salt-concentrated brine by repeatedly bringing sea water into contact with sea algae to evaporate water in the sea water, a brine-concentrating process for concentrating the obtained brine, an alga ash-dissolving process for adding and dissolving burned alga ash in the concentrated brine, a filtration process for filtering the alga ash-dissolved brine through a cloth, a boiling process for boiling down the obtained filtrate, a dehydration process for dehydrating a mixture containing the salt and the brine and obtained in the boiling process, and a salt-roasting process for heating the dehydrated salt obtained in the dehydration process to recover the residue as the alga salt. |
