PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a delustered coated paper causing no problems of transferring printing ink onto the white paper portions facing thereto after printing operation as often occurring during e.g. bookbinding process, and also having low white paper glass. SOLUTION: This delustered coated paper is such one as to bear at least two coating layers each having a pigment and adhesive on a base paper, and obtained by providing the surface of the base paper with a prime coating layer containing >=70 wt.% calcium carbonate as pigment component followed by thereon a topcoating layer containing 10-50 wt.% of synthetic resin particles 0.3-1.5μm in average size as pigment component; wherein the average particle size of the calcium carbonate is 0.4-1.0μm.
