MASCARA COMPOSITION CONTAINING MIXTURE OF HARD WAX AND FILM-FORMING POLYMER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a makeup product capable of improving the curl of eyelashes and the fitting of a product to eyelashes, having tolerance to hypersensitive eyelashes. SOLUTION: This mascara composition comprises (i) a wax-in-water type emulsion of at least one wax having a needle penetration in the range of 1 to 7.5 and 77-110 deg.C melting point in which at least 0.1 wt.% of at least one wax is contained based on the total weight of the composition and at least one wax is in a particle form having >= 1μm size and (ii) a polymer base containing at least 0.1 wt.% of at least one film-forming polymer based on the total weight of the composition in which the polymer base can form a film causing >l% of the shrinkage of an isolated keratin layer in 7% concentration in water at 40% relative humidity at 30 deg.C.
