<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin compsn. for forming a clear coating film excellent in all the necessary properties such as resistances to chemicals and heat, adhesive properties, applicability, clarity, scratch resistance, and flatness and to provide a color filter protective film and a color filter prepd. by using the compsn. SOLUTION: This resin compsn. comprises an epoxy-group-contg. vinyl polymer having repeating units derived from a compd. of the formula (wherein R and X are each independently H or a lower alkyl; and m is an integer of 1-5) and a compd. having at least two phenolic hydroxyl groups and at least one carboxyl group. The color filter protective film is obtd. by forming the resin compsn. into a film and curing it. The color filter is prepd. by laminating the color filter protective film onto RGB pixels of a color filter having RGB pixels on the surface thereof.</p> |
