PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance record quality of a boundary part of recording areas. SOLUTION: A dot D8 of a smaller area than a dot D5 recorded already at a record area H5 is recorded with a shift ofα(0.1 dot) in an X direction from a dot D6 recorded at an overlap area HA. Accordingly, even when a record position of the dot D8 is dislocated, a high-density overlap part formed by overlap of dots or a filed part formed by reparation of dots is prevented from being increased or irregular in area.
