PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce cost without enlarging a device as well as to accurately, easily and reliably perform control of a flow to be pressure-fed to an accumulator pipe. SOLUTION: A variable discharge high-pressure pump P is so constituted as to introduce low-pressure fluid from a feed passage 11 to a pressure chamber 23 by a reciprocating motion of a plunger 21, pressurize it, and pressure-feed it to a high-pressure passage 33. A throttle valve 5 is provided between the pressure chamber 23 and the feed passage 11. A check valve 4 is provided between the throttle valve 5 and the pressure chamber 23 so as to allow fluid to flow only in the direction of the pressure chamber 23. The intake amount of low-pressure fluid to the pressure chamber 23 is controlled by adjusting pressure of a pressure control chamber 505 for generating driving force for a valve element 502 of the throttle valve 5 by a pressure adjusting means 6. The pressure adjusting means 6 may be independent of the throttle valve 5 and is not enlarged, and the operating range of the valve element 502 is increased, and metering accuracy can be easily improved. |
