PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a sheet suitable for high-grade printing affording high-glass images excellent in dot reproducibility and half-toning in electrocoagulation printing operation, for example, printing collection of pictures and photographs. SOLUTION: This sheet for electrocoagulation printing is obtained by providing the surface of a substrate with a coating layer comprising at least one kind of loading material selected from the group consisting of alumina sol, boehmite and pseudoboehmite and a nonionic binder. This sheet has the following characteristics: ratio contact: >=40% determined with rays 0.5 μm in wavelength using a regular reflection-type smoothness sensor under a pressure of 40 kg/cm<2> ; wetting time <=15 mm.s determined from pure water absorption curve using a dynamic scanning liquid absorption meter; absorption coefficient >=10 mL/m<2> .s<-1/2> ; and the Bekk smoothness of coated layer surface: >=250 s determined in accordance with JIS P-8119. |
