PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surgical suture material package such that a surgical suture material placed inside the package can be removed easily. SOLUTION: This surgical suture material package has a base sheet 1 whose wall part 3 rises helically, the wall part 3 forming a helical thread conduit part 5. The thread conduit part 5 opens into a thread disconnection area 7 at the first end 6 thereof. A cover 9 is placed above the thread conduit part 5. Further, the wall part 3 has a plurality of threaddeflecting projections 12 on the outward side face 10 thereof, and the projections 12 are separated from one another within the path of the thread conduit part 5. |
