<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock device dispensing with a spring. SOLUTION: For opening a door, a ratchet 8 is detached from the full latch engaging step part 7 of a latch 3, the door is opened and a striker 4 is moved from an engaging groove 5 in the detaching direction, and hence the latch 3 is rotated up to the striker detached position, so that the form of the outer circumferential contact face 12 of the latch 3 contacted with the ratchet 8 becomes gradually larger in radius in the direction of opening the door. Then the latch 3 is constituted to be rotationally moved toward the perfect door opening condition by the force of a spring 9 contacted with the ratchet 8.</p> |
