<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size of an exposing apparatus having self light emitting elements by arranging a plurality of rows of common electrode for driving emission of light on a chip where self light emitting elements are formed in line thereby decreasing the number of signal lines connecting the light emitting sections with driver sections. SOLUTION: When a record data is inputted from a host computer to a controller, it is converted into a serial data for an exposing apparatus and inputted as a clock or strobe signal or an emission signal to a shift register at a drive section. It is then inputted to a driver array and processed selectively based on an OUT signal. A plurality of transparent anodes 101a-101c are then selected by a switch based on a selective record data and a metal anode 102 or 103 is selected on the cathode side by turning one electric switch on. Consequently, an organic layer emits light and exposure takes place on a photosensitive drum for the light emitting part.</p> |
