PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a pattering material for artificial marble capable of affording dazzle feeling resembling natural stone without impairing the character inherent in artificial marble, and to obtain an artificial marble using the above material. SOLUTION: This pattering material, a glass flake chip-contg. resin cured product, comprises (A) a vinyl polymer, (B) an inorganic filler, and (C) glass flake chips; wherein the difference between the refractive index of the component A at room temperature and that of the component B is <±0.02. The other objective artificial marble is obtained by including a ground product of the above resin cured product. |
