PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear shift control device for an automatic transmission to realize shift-down based on the will of a driver through simple operation. SOLUTION: In the case of an automatic gear shift mode wherein a D-range or a two-range is selected by the shift lever 41 of a shift position selection part 40, a control part 10 decides that a shift-down switch 32 is depressed by a driver, and shift-down is executed by an automatic transmission 20. In this case, the control part 10 transfers a gear shift based on a gear shift chart to control a manual speed change mode prohibited by the automatic transmission 20. Further, the control part 10 is returned to control of an automatic gear shift mode when a lapse of a given time is decided. |
