PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a metallic cord for reinforcing elastomers, and to obtain a pneumatic tire provided with the metallic cord. SOLUTION: This metallic cord 10 has (4+3)-filament structure, the filaments 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22 and 24 having diameters of 0.35-0.50 mm, respectively. This metallic cord is esp. useful for reinforcing the belt of pneumatic tires. |
