PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the generation of both vibrations in the directions X and Y of parallel cables. SOLUTION: This rubber damper comprises fixing metal fittings 3 fixed on paralleling cables 2A and 2B; and a damping tool 4 to interconnect the fixing metal fittings 3. The damping tool 4 is provided with a rubber damper base body 10, provided with a rubber damper main part 9, between base plates 12 and 12. The damper main part 9 comprises a central main hole part 15 extending through in the same direction as the direction of the length of the cable; and one auxiliary hole part 16 or more situated therearound. This constitution sets a ratio Kx/Ky between a spring constant Kx in a direction X in which the cables 2A and 2B are interonnected and a spring constant Ky in a direction Y orthogonal thereto. |
