PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve good electric connection by making a thermal expansion amount of a discharge unit having a discharge energy generation element for discharging a liquid correspond to a thermal expansion amount of a driving unit having a driving element for driving the discharge energy generation element. SOLUTION: A liquid discharge head 10 has a discharge unit 20 where a plurality of discharge openings through which a liquid is discharged and a plurality of discharge energy generation elements for letting the liquid discharged from the discharge openings are set, a driving unit 12 provided with a driving element for supplying an electric signal to the discharge energy generation elements thereby driving the same, and coupling means 17, 18, 23, 24 for coupling the discharge unit 20 and driving unit 12 to electrically connect the discharge energy generation elements and driving element. In this case, a driving unit-heating heater 37 is also installed for heating the driving unit 12. |
