<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower the consumed current of a vehicular display device and improve its clock accuracy. SOLUTION: A vehicular display device 1, which comprises an electronic meter for displaying travel speed in digit, a CPU or control means 3 for controlling the operation of an LCD 4 and the like in the electronic meter, an E<2> PROM or storage means 5 for storing data such as the travel distance, and a reset circuit or means 6 for initializing the control means, is further provided with a constant voltage circuit 11 for outputting a prescribed constant voltage Vcc1 from the battery voltage as the power for all the control means, storage means and reset means. A clock circuit for clock timing is also provided to generate clocks for time display, which cause the control means standing by with its main switch set off to effect a clock updating process.</p> |
