PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remarkably reduce the wear of a refractory by arranging AlN-BN at the portion which is easily worn with molten metal flow, and zirconium compound at the portion in contact with mold powder. SOLUTION: A nozzle 9 is provided with a nozzle body 4 composed of >=65 wt.% the total of AlN and BN and 15-80 wt.% AlN and 20-85 wt.% BN based on the total quantity of AlN and BN, <=9 wt.% C (containing 0%) and the mold powder contacting portion 5 composed of >=50 wt.% the total of one or more kinds of the zirconium compound selected from the group consisting of ZrO2 , ZrB2 , ZrN and ZrC, and BN and 10-40 wt.% the zirconium compound and 20-85 wt.% BN. |
