<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the precision of plate thickness at the top end part by calculating rolling load by using stable measured value and stably executing learning at the top end position. SOLUTION: A position 8A in the longitudinal direction of a strip for recalculating the rolling load is decided, inlet-side thickness is measured at every time when the strip passes through the inlet-side thickness gage 40i of a stand 10n , the rolling load, front tension and back tention at the stand are measured at every time when the strip passes through just below each stand, the outlet-side thickness is measured when the strip passes through the outlet-side thickness gage 40 of the stand and also tracking is executed. The rolling load calculated by using a rolling load expression is compared with the above-mentioned actual rolling and the model of the stand is adaptively corrected.</p> |
