PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a road rivet installing method which does not require skill and which prevents troubles after installation. SOLUTION: Contact members 2 are mounted at the ends of the surface of a road rivet 1 in such a way as to overhang outward, and the road rivet 1 embedded in place in an embedding hole 3 can have its projecting height held constant without the necessity of skill, by causing the backs of the contact members 2 to abut against a road surface 4. After the road rivet 1 is embedded in place, the contact members 2 are removed from the road rivet 1 to avoid troubles resulting form the contact members 2, and the road rivet 1 can also be installed in such a way as to be projected accurately by a predetermined height from the road surface 4 or to become flush with the road surface 4. |
