PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently take out eggs, to stack storage containers while eggs are stored, and to save the space by specifying the distance between the last end of the storage containers which are continuously arranged in the same direction on a plane without leaving any clearance and the center line of the first transverse row of eggs, and specifying the lower shape of an outer edges part on the longer side of the storage container. SOLUTION: A storage container 1 has egg storage seats having equal intervals L both longitudinally and transversely, and when a plurality of storage containers 1 are continuously arranged in the same direction on the plane, the distance between the center line of the last transverse row of eggs of one storage container 1 and the center axis of the egg row in the first transverse row of the storage container 1 next to one storage container 1, is equal to the interval L between the egg storage seats. Eggs 2 in a plurality of storage containers 1 can be efficiently taken out. When the storage containers 1 are stacked in an alternately turning manner by 90 deg., the lower shape of an outer edge part on the long side of the storage container 1 becomes the shape along the upper shape of egg row located below the outer edge part on the long side. Thus, the storage containers 1 can be stacked while storing eggs 2. |
